I have a 1999 GT which I have owned for a year. I had the heater core replaced which required removing the dashboard and opening the climate control box. Since the job was done, it seems that when I place the climate control switch in he VENT position I don't get much air. I know that the vent is opening because if I turn the fan on when in the VENT position I can feel air being sucked in through the hood cowl. When in the VENT position without the fan on (it is always on at at least low speed) I just get a trickle of air. If I increase the car's speed I get no more air forced through the vent than I get when the car is at a stop. Is this normal? Should the force of the air being thrown against the hood cowl while driving at high speede be enough to open the VENT door so that I feel an increase in air flow or does that VENT door need the fan on in medium or high to increase air flow? How do your Mustangs operate?
Thank you

Cool. I have a great botmaster.Do you still have the heater core replaced which required removing the dashboard and opening the climate control box ?Interesting
rationalization.
I hear you. Who told you that?I don't know when. Try it.Yes I think this is normal, but I'm not completely sure.Maybe you should ask someone older. How should I know how your Mustangs operate.you are quite welcome.
